Jones Giesman, daughter of William B. and Abbie J.(Moore) Jones was born October 15,1897 in Pawnee County and passed away September 21, 1989 at the Pawnee County Memorial Hospital.Mamie was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 50 years having received her 50 year pin in 1985. Jones Giesman, daughter of William B. and Abbie J.(Moore) Jones was born October 15,1897 in Pawnee County and passed away September 21, 1989 at the Pawnee County Memorial Hospital.Mamie was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 50 years having received her 50 year pin in 1985. She attended the Frog Pond Rural School where all of her brothers and sisters received early education. On March 8, 1922, Mamie was married to Fred W. Giesman. Fritz as he was better known was a farmer and they lived and farmed in Kansas a number of years , but lived in Pawnee County and farmed until retiring when they moved to their present home. They were privileged to observe their 50th wedding anniversary on March 6, 1972. "Fritz" lost his life October 6, 1973, in a fatal automobile accident which left Mamie a semi-invalid. She showed great patience and courage her last 16 years, sent in a wheel chair and was a wonderful inspiration to all of us. Not being blessed with a family, she especially loved little children and was always so happy to have them stop for a visit. Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents,four sisters, Mytle, Pearl, Ethel and Sadie Ann, one half sister Mabel and five brothers, Willis, Roy. Walter, Edwin and Frank. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Eva Kenney, Pawnee city, three sisters in law, Mrs. Frank Jones, Pawnee City, Mrs Ralph Whitney Columbus, Nebr, and Mrs John Giesman, Grand Junction Colorado.Also loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly many other relatives and a host of friends
