She was born August 15, 1934 in Freedom Township, Henry County, Ohio to the late Carl C. and Irene (Buchhop) Wiemken. On April 22, 1956, she married Robert Behrman at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon Township, who survives in Napoleon. She was a homemaker and worked part time for Northcrest Nursing Home, Riecherts Jewelry Store, both of Napoleon, and Spanglers Candy Company of Bryan. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church Napoleon Twp. and the St. Paul Women of LIFE. She is survived by 2 daughters, Julie (Steve) Gilgenbach of Napoleon, and Jane (Dan, Jr.) Lighthill of Defiance; a son, Jeff (Sherry) Behrman of Napoleon; 4 grandchildren, Lindsey and Kristen Gilgenbach, Benjamin and Justin Lighthill; 4 step grandchildren, Jack, Jacob, Jeremy, and Jason Frost; and 6 great step grandchildren; a sister, Janice (Marvin) Woltman, and a brother, Donald (Mary) Wiemken, both of Napoleon. Funeral services on Monday at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Napoleon Twp., with Pastor Franklin Hays officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and 1 hour prior the service at the church on Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, American Diabetes Association, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
