Description	:	Mrs. Margaret E. Harvey, daughter of Frank and Jessie Joy, was born February 9, 1885 at Villard, Minnesota and passed from this life on April 30th, 1959 in the Mercy Hospital at Jackson, Michigan. She was united in marriage with Henry M. Harvey on March 28, 1906 at Gandy, Nebraska. After their marriage, she and Mr. Harvey homesteaded west of Arnold. During the early years of their marriage, each of them taught in country schools near their homestead traveling daily by horseback in opposite directions to their schools. Harvey, daughter of Frank and Jessie Joy, was born February 9, 1885 at Villard, Minnesota and passed from this life on April 30th, 1959 in the Mercy Hospital at Jackson, Michigan. She was united in marriage with Henry M. Harvey on March 28, 1906 at Gandy, Nebraska. After their marriage, she and Mr. Harvey homesteaded west of Arnold. During the early years of their marriage, each of them taught in country schools near their homestead traveling daily by horseback in opposite directions to their schools. They each attended medical school. While Dr. Harvey was finishing his medical course, Mrs. Harvey transferred to the nurses school. They worked together in hospital work and doctoring for some 31 years in Gothenburg, having moved here from Burchard, Nebraska. Mrs. Harvey was a member of the First Methodist Church in Gotlenburg, having united in 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Henry M Harvey, on November 27, 1957; a daughter, Mrs. Beryl Torbert in 1938; a brother, Bert Joy, and an infant son, Darrel R in 1928. The survivors are: two sons, Dr. Bernard Harvey of Monrovia, California and Lyle Harvey of New Orleans, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph B Cimock of Jackson, Michigan; ten grandchildren, one of whom, Mrs. Lynette Martins of Bridgeport, was raised in the Harvey home after the death of her mother; two great grandchildren; three brothers: Lester Joy of North Platte, Harry Joy of Oakville, Washington, and Raleigh Joy of Gothenburg; three sisters: Mrs. Ida Clark of North Platte, Mrs. Lucy Chappell of Jerseyville. Illinois. and Mrs. Jessie Henderson of Woodland, Washington. Funeral services were held Tuesday May 5 10:30 am at the First Methodist Church with Rev Lawrence W Bratt officiating. Music was furnished by Glen Bryant, Keith Lysiriger, Bernard Ristine, and Homer Loutzenheiser accompanied at the organ by John W Greene, Jr. Pallbearers were Ray Hillis, Virge Stebbins, Dr. E O Anderson, Keith Windrum, Raymond Sitorius, and J Engaard Lynn.
