Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. T.J. (Margaret) Highly, 96, were held Oct. 6 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Miller officiated. Pallbearers were Laurence Walshire, Lee Highly, Eugene Kunde, Ernest, Bryce, and Eldon Werling. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist. Helping Hand Rebekah lodge conducted services at the funeral home. She was married to Thomas Jefferson Highly at Rochester Feb. 15, 1892. She had lived in Tipton since 1915. She was a Past Noble Grand and a 50 year member of the Helping Hand Rebekah Lodge of Tipton and a member of the United Methodist church. Mrs. Highly is survived by 3 sons, Albert (Bert), Tipton; E.L., Harvey, Ill., and Merrill, South Bend, Ind.; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 half sisters, Mrs. Catherine Wynn, Dennison, and Mrs. Rosella Ford, Wilton, and 2 half brothers, Myron Rice, Dennison, and Ben Rice, Wichita, Kansas. Note It is undetermined at this time as to Margaret's Middle name. Information provided by a great great grand-niece of Margaret's states her middle name is Frances, sourcing family record. A relative of one of Margaret's son's gives Florence/Florinda as her middle name as shown in Francis Merrel Highly's marriage record from 14 June 1926.
