Their children include; Ida, Frank, Clara, Elsie, Frieda, Ada, Fredeick, Edward & Roy. _________________________________________________________________The Oakland Independent Mrs. Daubert 89, Succumbs Resided in Oakland Since 1933 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Palmquist funeral home in Oakand and at St. Pauls's Lutheran church of Uehling for Mrs. Margaretha Daubert, who died at her home in Oakland on Saturday, May 1, at the age of 89 years. As Margaretha Kallenbach, Mrs. Daubert was born Sept. 30, 1858, in Saxe Meiningen, Germany. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in that country. She left Germany with her parents in 1866 and settled in Dane County, Wisconsin, which was the family home for six years. In 1872 the family moved to Nebraska, settling on a farm east of Scribner. Mrs. Daubert was confirmed in 1876, as a member of the second class confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran church of Hooper. Her marriage to Frederick Daubert occurred Jan. 29, 1877. The couple resided on the Daubert farm southeast of Uehling until the fall of 1879, when they moved to the farm east of Uehling, which was her home for 54 years. Mr. Daubert died Jan. 7, 1908. Oakland had been Mrs. Daubert's home since 1933. Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Daubert. A daughter, Ida, and two sons, Edward and Fred, preceded Mrs. Daubert in death. Surviving children are Frank H. Daubert, Hooper; Mrs. Edwin Edelman, Fremont; Mrs. Henry Kreibel, Frieda Daubert, Mrs. Ada Lundquist and Roy Daubert, all of Oakland. There are also 3 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Rev. Hugo Welchet officiated at the funeral services Tuesday. A quartet composed of Supt. and Mrs. Robert Wiegman, Mrs. Welchert and Adolplh Stover sang one number. Lloyd Lindquist of Fremont a solo and the Lutheran Sisterhood one selecton. Organizations attending in a body were the Lutheran Sisterhood, of which Mrs. Daubert was the first president, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Uehling , of which she was an honorary member. Burial was in the family plot in the Elim Cemetery at Swaburg, where Rev. Drell E. Bernhardson officiated. Pallbearers were six grandson, Wayne, Frank, Harold and Raymond Daubert, Kenneth Kriebel and Fred Benston.hhw
