Daubert were brought to Swaburg for interment in the family lot in the Elim Lutheran cemetery on Tuesday afternoon following services in the St. Paul Lutheran church in Uehling of which he was a member. The Rev. Hugo Welchert was the officiating clergyman. Miss Meta Hasebroock presided at the organ and was accompanist for Pastor Welchert and Harvey Haseman in two duet numbers. The services were very largely attended and floral tributes were many and beautiful. Pallbearers were six nephews, Earl B. Daubert of Omaha, Kenneth Kriebel, Tekamah; Fred Bengston, Oakland, John H. Rinderhagen, Uehling and Harold and Frank Daubert, Jr., of Swaburg. Among relatives attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hall of Ida Grove, Iowa; Mr and Mrs. John Hall, Amelia; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Raitt and Mrs. Frank Jasa, St. Edward; Mr and Mrs. John Hankins and daughter, Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. Earl B. Daubert, Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Jansen, Mrs. Arthur Orth and Charles Yocum Omaha; also a large number from Tekamah, Oakland, North Bend, Fremont and Hooper. Frederick John Daubert son of the late Frederick and Mrs. Margaretha Daubert, prominent pioneer residents of this vicinity, was born May 14, 1892, on the farm north of Swaburg, and passed away August 8, 1942, at Oakland, aged 50 years, 2 months and 24 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Weigle of near Hooper on February 23, 1921, who preceded him in death February 22, 1934. To this union, a daughter, Marie, and a son, Wayne, were born. On August 13, 1939, he married Mrs. Mabel Marek of North Bend. The family home was in the extreme northeastern corner of Dodge county. The deceased was widely known throughout this territory. He was associated with his brother, Roy, in the raising of Hampshire hogs, was a member of the Uehling Farmers Union Cooperative Mercantile association and had served as a member of the school board in his district and on the administration board of the St. Paul Lutheran church in Uehling. He was taken suddenly ill while consulting a doctor in Oakland, and passed away from a heart attack at his mothers's home in Oakland a few hours later. Surviving him besides his wife and son and daughter, is his aged mother, also two brothers, Frank of Swaburg, and Roy of Oakland vicinity, and five sisters, Mrs. Ida Bengston, Uehling; Mrs. Edwin Edelman, Fremont, and Mrs. Henry Kriebel, Mrs. Ada Lindquist and Miss Frieda Daubert, all of Oakland.hhw
