Daughter of Verne/Vern E Speer and Helen Leech Speer/Emerson. ----------- Fairfield Ledger Tuesday September 23, 1986 Margery Pech services set Margery Rosetta Pech, 70, 705 West Stone, died at 2 p.m. Monday at Jefferson County Hosptal. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wedneday. Memorial have been established to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation and the Diabetes Association. Mrs. Pech was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Fairfield, the daughter of Verne and Helen Leech Speer. She married John R. Pech June 21, 1941 in Bremerton, Wash. Except for five years in the state of Washington, she had lived in Fairfield. She was a member of Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary for many years and First United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Janyce Pech of Cedar Rapids, three sons, Michael and Richard, both of Fairfield, Fred of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Stoner of Fairfield and a brother, Dick Speer of Minneapolis, Minn. A daughter preceded her in death.
