Marie was born May 21, 1902, at Hooper to George and Amelia (Behrens) Osterloh. She graduated from Hooper High School in 1920. Marie also graduated from University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1928. After graduating from the Uniiversity, she went to work for Orchard Wilhelm Furniture in Omaha retiring in 1970. In 1993 she moved to Monte Clair Nursing Home in Omaha. Marie was born May 21, 1902, at Hooper to George and Amelia (Behrens) Osterloh. She graduated from Hooper High School in 1920. Marie also graduated from University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1928. After graduating from the Uniiversity, she went to work for Orchard Wilhelm Furniture in Omaha retiring in 1970. In 1993 she moved to Monte Clair Nursing Home in Omaha. Marie was a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Hooper. She also was a past member of many art associations. She has exhibited her art at many regional and national Art Shows. She worked both in water color and oils. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Hooper on August 7 with Pastor Chris Lenning officiating. LaVonne Moeller was organist and Barbara Muller was soloist. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Hooper. Casket bearers were Richard Larson, LeRoy Ferguson, Charles Erickson, LaVere Dierking, Robert Muller and Frederick Bengston. Memorials are suggested to fammily choice.
