They moved to Clarks in 1940 and Marie moved to Columbus in 1964. She worked as a cook at Elfran Cafe, the Coffee Shop, and at the bus depot. Marie took care of Mrs. Kropatch for many years. In 1974, Marie went to work at the hospital in Columbus and worked there for 15 years before retiring in 1985.
