Description	:	Marilyn Mae Johnson, 84 years of age, of Minden, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Bethany Home in Minden, Nebraska. She was born on April 30, 1926 on a farm near the Moses Hill area to Albert J. and Esther M. (Abramson) Swanson. When she was a year old, the family moved to a farm near Loomis, Nebraska. Read More	Marilyn Mae Johnson, 84 years of age, of Minden, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Bethany Home in Minden, Nebraska. She was born on April 30, 1926 on a farm near the Moses Hill area to Albert J. and Esther M. (Abramson) Swanson. When she was a year old, the family moved to a farm near Loomis, Nebraska. She was baptized at Moses Hill Church. She attended school at District 29 through 8th grade and then graduated from Loomis High School with the class of 1944. Following graduation she worked for four years at the Loomis State Bank and one year at Brewster Clinic. On June 4, 1949, she was untied in marriage to Quenton Johnson at the Evangelical Free Church in Loomis. Marilyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church for over fifty years. She enjoyed the CIC Club, the Funk Evening Club, Birthday Club, UMC Circle and the ladies Bible study as well as helping Quenton on the farm. She was also a devoted Sunday school and Bible school teacher for many years. Besides her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Quenton in 1971; son-in-law, Bob Binderup; four brother-in-laws; and one sister-in-law. Marilyn leaves to mourn her passing son, Rodney Johnson and his wife, Janelle of Norfolk, Nebraska; daughter, Ronda Binderup of rural Minden, Nebraska; grandchildren: Ashley Blank and her husband, Todd of Irvine, California, Olivia Stubbendeck and her husband, Travis of Kansas City, Missouri, Becky Noetzelman and her husband, Jeff of Kearney, Ryan Binderup and his finance, Sarah Schumacher of Minden; one sister, Berniece Magill and her husband, Bob of Holdrege; sisters-in-law, Zola Maul and her husband, Emmett of Kearney, Carol Guthrie and her husband, Jack of Odessa; and sister-in-law, Vearl Schroder of Holdrege; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
