Description	:	WEST YARMOUTH - Marjorie Anne (Chase) Denoncourt, 89, of West Yarmouth, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016. She was the wife of Oliva "Denny" Denoncourt for 69 years. Born and raised in West Yarmouth, Marjorie attended and graduated from Yarmouth public schools, then worked for the telephone company in Hyannis for a couple years. Later, she worked long hours at her family business, Chase Laundry, for over 30 years before retiring. Marjorie volunteered her time at St. Francis Xavier Church as a Catechism teacher for many years. She loved sewing, knitting, gardening, cooking and traveling. She had a great... She had a great sense of humor and lived life on her own terms. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Katherine Coggeshall, Martha Clark, Jane Angell, and Adam Denoncourt. She was Mimi to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marjorie will be laid to rest at a private family burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yarmouth Food Pantry, 845 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
