Description	:	Marjorie Irene (Franz) Neuhauser, 96, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on December 17, 1920 to the late Walter and Mabel (Hornung) Franz. She attended School in Holgate for three years and then the Bales "One Room School" through the 8th grade. In 1938 Marjorie graduated from Napoleon High School. After graduation she was a bookkeeper for Neuhauser Hatcheries, where she met the boss's son, Paul. Read More	Marjorie Irene (Franz) Neuhauser, 96, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on December 17, 1920 to the late Walter and Mabel (Hornung) Franz. She attended School in Holgate for three years and then the Bales "One Room School" through the 8th grade. In 1938 Marjorie graduated from Napoleon High School. After graduation she was a bookkeeper for Neuhauser Hatcheries, where she met the boss's son, Paul. They were married in Napoleon on May 18, 1943 while Paul was on leave from the Army during World War II. Marjorie was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and an active member of United Methodist Women. Church missions was a very important part of her life and she corresponded with many missionaries. Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilting and many of her beautiful crafts are cherished by her family. Surviving Marjorie are a son David and his wife Margaret, and a daughter Judy Kahn and her husband Warren. A son Lynn is deceased. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Jennifer, Amy, Melinda, Michael, and Andrew and three great grandchildren; Jacob, Matthew, and Charlotte. Her husband of 70 years, Paul, passed away in 2013. Her brother, Eldor Franz, also preceded her in death and his wife, Betty survives. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
