Description	:	Marlen Bennett Succumbs At 78 Marlen Bennett, age 78, a Butler county resident almost his entire life, died Wednesday night at 6:15 o'clock in Middletown hospital. Since the death of his wife on February 1, Mr. Bennett had been residing with his daughter, Mrs. George Leonard, Middletown. Mr. Bennett was a native of Clermont county, born December 26, 1864. One, Hamilton, and Mrs. Leonard; five sons, John and Ellsworth Bennett, both of Hamilton, Elmer Bennett, Reily, Earl Bennett, Okeana, and Floyd Bennett, Shandon; four sisters; Mrs. Ida Saxton, Mrs. Hannah Groves, and Mrs. Minnie Snider, all of Clermont county, and Mrs. Rose Long, Dayton; two brothers, Abner Bennett, Hamilton, and Arlen Bennett, Dayton; 18 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Klaus funeral home, F street and Elvin avenue, with Rev. Emerson D. Bragg, pastor of the First U. B. church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood. Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening. Published in the Hamilton Daily News Journal, May 27, 1943.
