Bell was born on October 20, 1926, in Page County, VA and the daughter of the late Edward J and Olga Gertrude Bell Marston. She was married to the late Junior Cletus Griffith who preceded her in death on May 16, 1991. Bell worked at Luray Textile for 34 years and Luray Caverns Motel West for 18 years. She was a member of Luray Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She was a member of the Luray VFW Auxiliary. Bell is survived by her daughter Elta G. Jenkins, of Luray, sisters, M. Elaine Moyer, Eleanor L. Gochenour, Nancy L. Cave, E. Muriel Williams, all of Luray, and J. Cleo Weatherman, of Rileyville, brothers, Donnie B. Marston and Kenneth L. Marston, both of Luray, grandchildren, Rodney A. Jenkins, Shelley J. Jenkins and Missy L. Good, great-grandchildren, Allison R. Jenkins and Zach F. Good. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley G. Judd, son, Cletus E (Pete) Griffith, sisters, Hilda M. Burner and Evelyn O. Woodward, brothers, Douglas H. Marston and Edward J. Marston, Jr. Doug Gochenour and Bubba Gochenour will conduct a funeral service Tuesday, August 27th,2013, at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Service Chapel, in Luray. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the Luray Fire Department and the Luray Rescue Squad.
