Twenty-seven years ago they moved from Iowa to Madison county. >About eight years ago the couple made their home with their son, John S. Craig, soon after which the old gentleman died. >Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Craig, four boys and two girls. The oldest, Elizabeth, wife of W. W. Cloyd, died in 1880.The others are J. S. Craig, at whose home she died, W. W. Craig, of Battle Creek, Cyrus Craig, of Iowa, and Morganna and Uriah, the later two dying in infancy..... >The funeral was held at the family residence, conducted by Rev. Letcher Cox. The remains were laid to rest in the Best cemetery.
