Read More	Marvin Hale Stones, 55, passed away June 17 at his home in Lebanon. He was born in Smith County on Dec. 14, 1924, to George H. and Beulah M. Stones, and received his schooling at the Mt. Hope Church helped form his character and faith for later years. ..Marvin and Mary Doreen Olliff were united in marriage on July 31, 1943, in Red Cloud, Neb. To this union were born three sons, Kent of Lebanon, Larry of Phillipsburg, and Mark of Great Bend. to add joy to the home Margaret Woods, when 14 years of age, came to make her home with them and was always considered a member of the family. ..After a short time of farming, and because of ill health, a move was made to Lebanon. Marvin operated a cleaning plant and drove a school bus for many years. The last 12 years he was employed by Midway Co-op as a refined fuel salesman. He loved young people and always had candy for those he met on his route. ..He was a member of the Mt. Hope Church and later the Lebanon Christian Church, the Oak Lodge #287 of Lebanon, Order of the Eastern Star, and Full Gospel business Men's Fellowship International. ..He is survived by his wife Doreen; sons Kent and wife Cindy, Larry and wife Iris, Mark and wife Janet, Margaret (Woods) Dykens and husband James L. of Norton; grandchildren Steven, Mary Ruth, Leslie and Jimmy; his parents, George and Beaulah Stones of Lebanon; mother-in-law Pearl Olliff; sisters Betty Richardson and husband James of Inavale, Vera Keever and husband Walter of Smith Center, Janice Allen and husband Roger of Lebanon; brothers and sisters in-law, Duane and Joan Ream of Lebanon, Norman and Carol Olliff of Norton; and nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. ..After an illness of less than a year, Marvin went to be with his Lord. ..Memorial services were Thursday, June 19, at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church in Lebanon with Rev. Ken Osborne and Rev. A. E. Beardslee officiating. Hymns were sung by Norris Maydew, soloist, and by June Osborne, Sharon Slate and Carol Cordel with Gladys Kennedy as accompanist. .. Casket bearers were Dr. Otto Luke, Lynn Thompson, Raymond Griffith, Glen Jennings, Clarence Allen, and Kenneth Kennedy. Interment was at Mt.
