Description	:	Pocahontas Record-Democrat Mrs. Mayme Hogan, 75, died early Monday, August 7, 1972 at Mercy Marion Center in Council Bluffs where she had been a resident for six years. Mrs. Hogan had been in failing health for ten years. Funeral services will be held Thursday in Sacred Heart Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas. Casket bearers are Tom Holst, James Naughton, William Mackovets, Joe Malcock, Verle Hudek and Chris Peterson. Mayme McCormick was born at Grand Ridge, IL, July 2, 1897 and attended school there. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael. Mrs. Hogan was a member of Sacred Heart parish and of the Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include two sons, Franklin of Hacienda Heights, Calif and Alan of Omaha, Neb; three daughters, Mrs. James Owens (Mary Catherine) of Lake City; Mrs. James Burns (Helen) of Portland, OR; Mrs. Bill O'Connell (Peggy) of Coronada, Calif; 17 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. A.J. Kleen, of Pocahontas.
