Glasco Sun, Feb. 14, 1918, page 1: Mary Ann Lane Mary Ann Lane was born in England, October 8, 1826. She came to Glovisville, New York with her parents when she was ten years old. There she grew to womanhood and was married July 5, 1854, to Robert Patrick. To this union five children were born, George and Daniel who preceded her in death, Maggie Beaver of Glasco, Steven of Oklahoma, and Wallace of Canada. She also raised a boy from infancy, Will Meade of Glasco. Mr. Patrick died November 7, 1879. In 1881 she was married to James T. McCollough who died some years later. In her youth she was a Methodist but in 1876 she united with a Christian Church, in a schoolhouse near her home. She was a charter member of the Advent Christian Church of Glasco. She was an earnest, consistent Christian, very loyal to what she regarded as the truth and will be greatly missed in the community, but, especially in the little Church circle where she was a member. She leaves to mourn her loss one brother, two sisters, one daughter, two sons, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She died at her home in Glasco, Feb. 6, 1918, and her funeral was held in the Chrisitan Advent Church, Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 P.M. conducted by Rev. G.S. Smith. The burial was made in the Glasco Cemetery.
