MARY ANNE MILLIGAN PASSED AWAY IN PHILADELPHIA Mrs. Mary Anne Milligan, a former resident of Crisfield, but who had made her home in Philadelphia for some years, died at the home of her nephew, Mr. William Roach, in that city, on Thursday morning. MARY ANNE MILLIGAN PASSED AWAY IN PHILADELPHIA Mrs. Mary Anne Milligan, a former resident of Crisfield, but who had made her home in Philadelphia for some years, died at the home of her nephew, Mr. William Roach, in that city, on Thursday morning. She was eighty years of age. Mrs. Milligan was the widow of the late Captain J. Wes Milligan, a well known Somerset resident. She was a daughter of the late Hance and Emeline Lawson, a family prominently identified with the history and growth of this county for many years. The deceased spent the greater part of her life in Crisfield, but moved to Philadelphia about twenty years ago. She leaves a host of friends throughout this community to mourn her death. The remains will be brought to Crisfield by train Saturday afternoon and will rest at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors until the funeral service, which will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Asbury M. E. Church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, pastor, will conduct the services which will be under the auspices of Chesapeake Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
