Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Huston were held at Venus Wesleyan Methodist church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12th, 1966. Her death occurred on November 8th in an Omaha hospital, after a lingering illness of several weeks. The Reverend George Francis officiated in the services. Pallbearers were Gerald Waring, Floyd Belik, Orville Kemper, William Wellman, William Vrooman and Henry Wellman. Burial was in the Enterprise Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Huston, the daughter of Charlie and Ellen Blain, was born at Middlebranch, Nebr. on June 22, 1893; and departed from this life November 8, 1966 at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Harry G. Huston on March 4, 1920 at O'Neill, Nebr. Shortly after this, they moved to South Dakota where they farmed for more than ten years. They then moved back to Holt County, where they resided until 1950, when they moved to Missouri where they resided until the death of her husband. Since that time she has made her home in Page caring for her aged mother until her death a year ago. At the time of her death, Mrs. Huston was a member of the Venus Wesleyan Methodist Church. She left definite testimony that she was ready for her etenal home. She always appreciated the privilege of attending a place of worship. She was a kind and loving mother and always willing to help others. Survivors include seven children, John of Sullivan, Ind.; Walter, Kansas City, Kans.; Francis of Torrence, Calif.; Lewis and Robert of Omaha; Eleanor (Mrs. Norman Moore) of Omaha; Opal (Mrs. John Neutss) of Riverdale, New York; two step children; Forrest of Omaha and Florence (Mrs. George Bauman) of Sand Point, Ida., thirty one grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, two brothers, Harold of Page and Homer of Orchard, one sister, Carlie (Mrs. George Andre) of Stapleton, Nebr. She is preceded in death by her husband, one grand daughter, her parents, four brothers and one sister. A large number of other relatives and friends mourn her passing also.
