She was united in marriage to George W. Hussey on January 19, 1881, at Russells, Ohio and moved to Carrollton the same year. Read More	Glasco Sun, Sept. 17, 1936, page 1: Mary Elizabeth Hodson, daughter of Allen and Martha Hodson, was born in Fallsville, Highland County, Ohio, October 20, 1856 and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Sheets, September 11th, 1936, aged 79 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was united in marriage to George W. Hussey on January 19, 1881, at Russells, Ohio and moved to Carrollton the same year. They moved to Glasco, Kansas in January 1885 and have resided here ever since. Seven children were born to this union. One infant daughter and a son, Willie, aged three years, also a step-daughter, Ota Studt, who was as her own daughter, have passed into the great beyond, preceding her. Five of her children survive her and were with her during her last illness. There are Mrs. Maude Lemon, Manhattan, Kansas; Clyde Hussey, Phoenix, Ariz.; Arthur Hussey, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. May Sheets and Mrs. Leo Olson, of Glasco, Kansas. She passed away at the home on the farm where she spent many of the happy years of her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church since childhood and a member of this church for 44 years. A member of the W.R.C. and a charter member of the Eastern Star, being their first elect Worthy Matron. There are nine grandchildren: Roy Studt, Orville, Calif.; Guy and Betty Lemon, Manhattan, Kans.; George, Mary Lois, James and Marjory Hussey, Phoenix, Ariz.; Geneva May Hussey, Tulsa, Okla.; John Sheets, Glasco, Kansas; and two great-grandchildren, Georgiann and Harriet Hussey, Phoenix, Ariz. When one comes in contact with such a personality as Mrs. Hussey there comes a feeling of something better beyond. That character and personality is not born to die. Thus we see immortality in our friends, that inspires us and lifts us up.
