RAY home in Neligh Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. G. C. ROBBERSON. Burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery. Mrs. Warner was a pioneer resident of this community, coming to Nebraska in 1873. She and her husband, following their marriage in Ohio, arrived at Wisner, the railroad terminus, in the midst of the terrible April blizzard of that year. They were enroute to their homestead in Antelope County. Mary Elizabeth LOVE was born in Gallia County, Ohio, November 20, 1851, and departed this life February 19,1944, at the age of ninety-two years, two months and twenty-nine days. On April 3, 1873, at Vinton, Ohio, she was united in marriage to Thomas WARNER who had, three years earlier, located on a homestead in Nebraska a few miles northwest of where Tilden is now located. Three years were spent on the homestead after which a home was established on a farm northeast of Oakdale where she spent most of her life, although during more than twenty of the last years of her life Mrs. Warner lived either in Oakdale or Neligh. Her husband preceded her in death in 1928. There were five children: Eva MEACHAM, who departed this life in 1929, Grace BLACKSTONE, Rapid City, SD., Walter WARNER, Pierre, SD., Wendell WARNER, Oakdale, Florence RAY of Neligh.
