Description	:	Mary Elizabeth Winslow, daughter of Jordan and Sarah Winslow, was born March 30, 1860, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Veda Topping , 3 miles south of Birmingham September 19, 1940, aged 80 years, 5months, and 19 days. She was married to Albert Sparks in April, 1881, and he passed away in May, 1888. To them were born three children, Harry of Holtville, California, Ethel who died in 1888, and Lena, who died in 1906. She was again married to James T. Robison, December 5, 1896, and he preceded her in death January 5, 1933. To them was born one daughter, Mrs. Veda Topping, who survives. There are also three step-children, Will and Roy Robison of Milton, and Mrs. Grace Farlin of New Bloomfield, Missouri, and four grandchildren, Clifford and Mary Sparks of Holtville, California, and Dean and Rex Topping of Birmingham. Mrs. Robison had been in failing health for several years but was seriously ill only a few days and her passing was very sudden. She united with the Presbyterian church at Mount Zion, Iowa, at an early age. She is survived by one brother, Elgar Winslow of Fairfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Scott of Des Moines and Mrs. Lena Hootman of Birmingham. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at Birmingham Saturday afternoon, September 20, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Reverend H. C. Irvine. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
