Description	:	Mary Francis Davis Mary Francis Davis, 79, of Newton and Madison, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2012. She was born on November 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Ardrian and Lebeechen Pauley of Greenview. She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 wonderful years, Floyd "Boots" Davis; her sister, Margaret Willis of McIntosh, Fla.; and brother, David Joe Pauley of Six Mile. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Renee Pauley of Washington, D.C., Sharon Dotson of Milton, and Martha Graves Meyers of Charleston; and her brother, Douglas Pauley of Greenview. With broken hearts that will always cherish the memories are her children, Teresa Ramsey Knoble of Madison, Pamela Davis Dacci of Lancaster, Ky., and Gregory Davis of Newton; five grandchildren, Tracia Ramsey Pauley, John Ramsey, Andrea Dacci Link, Sarah Dacci Clark, and Kimberly Dacci Sarlls; and six great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Price, Carlie Beth Pauley, Lexee and Lilly Ramsey, Gavin Link and Emma Clark. She was retired from Boone National Bank with 26 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Van United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, catering and watching the birds. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The National Kidney Foundation.com for Greater Boone Dialysis. A gathering for the family is at 9:30 a.m. with friends calling at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison. The family would like to thank the staff at Greater Boone Dialysis, Dr. Ronnie Stollings and Kathy Hill at Madison Medical, and RN Julie Hancock and granddaughter, RN Tracia Pauley, for such loving care.
