Description	:	Mrs. Helena Renken, a Nuckolls County resident since 1904, died August 20, at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 4 days. Mrs. Renken was born in Otoe County, Nebraska, Feb. 16, 1880. She moved with her parents to Johnson, in Johnson County when four Years of age, and in 1904 they moved to the Mt. Clare vicinity in Nuckolls County to make their home. Read More	Mrs. Helena Renken, a Nuckolls County resident since 1904, died August 20, at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 4 days. Mrs. Renken was born in Otoe County, Nebraska, Feb. 16, 1880. She moved with her parents to Johnson, in Johnson County when four Years of age, and in 1904 they moved to the Mt. Clare vicinity in Nuckolls County to make their home. In 1907 she was married to Dick Renken of Nelson. Three children were Born to the union, Mrs. Glen Lyne (Lela May) of Gothenburg, Neb., Mrs. Ed LeMay (Freda Rose) of Hutchinson, Kan., and Otto Arthur Of Formoso, Kan. The family made their home near Nelson until 1943 when they moved to Superior and she continued to reside here until the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1960. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her passing, five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Clagett of Clifton, Kan., Mrs. Maggie Chapman of Nelson, Mrs. Anna Renken of Ruskin, Neb.,Mrs. George Brubaker of Beaver City, Neb. , and Mrs. Conrad Deubler of Tecumseh, Neb.; one brother Herman Lehn of Chappell, Neb.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior Friday , Aug. 23, with Pastor R. J. Leege officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Superior Express August 29, 1963
