Description	:	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," July 25, 1941: Mrs. Mary Harty, 79, wife of J.O. Harty, 536 South Davis street, died at her home at 9:20 a.m. today. She was the daughter of John and Jane Beard and was born in Davis county October 8, 1861. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 46 years. She was married to Y.O. Lowe of Ottumwa February 11, 1883. To this marriage 10 children were born. Mr. Lowe died November 9, 1906. She married Jesse Harty September 7, 1909. He survives her. She is also survived by four sons, Lambert and Herbert... She is also survived by four sons, Lambert and Herbert Lowe of Ottumwa, Russell Lowe of Hoquiam, Wash., and John Lowe of Omaha; one stepson, Clyde J. Harty of Sheridan, Wyo.; three daughters, Mrs. Maude J. Spears and Mrs. Blanche Mooney of Ottumwa and Mrs. Ada Spillman of Kirksville, Mo. She also is survived by 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harty was a member of Woodman circle, Mountain Grove No. 43, and a member of W.R.C. No. 327. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel, awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.
