Mrs. Frank W. Campbell passed away yesterday afternoon at four o'clock at her home on North C street. Mrs. Campbell had been in very poor health for some time and her death was not unexpected. The funeral services were held this afternoon at four o'clock from the late residence in charge of Rev. Lathrop. The remains were then laid to rest in the Fairfield Abbey. Mary Jane Lemmon, daughter of Robert and Sarah Hyce Lemmon, was born August 14, 1839, in the State of Pennsylvania. June 25th 1857, she was united in marriage to Frank W. Campbell who is left to mourn her loss. To this union was born one son and two daughters, John Campbell of Packwood, Mrs. I. R. Kirkpatrick of Cozad, Neb., and Mrs. Estella Ramsey of near this city. She is also survived by three brothers, G. H. Lemmon of Cozad, Neb., George Lemmon of Round Up, Montana and Harry Lemmon of Stop Cable [Table], Neb. The Fairfield Abbey was a mausoleum located in Greenwood Cemetery. After the mausoleum went bankrupt and then into ruin, the Court ordered bodies, including Mary Jane and Frank's, to be placed in plots at Greenwood Cemetery. Photos show gravestones of those who were moved.
