Read More	INDEPENDENT REGISTER [Columbiana, OH] Thursday - January 2, 1896; Page 3 Obituary for Mary Jane (Miller) Cover Death has again invaded our society and taken from us our friend and neighbor, Mrs. Chas. Cover. Her death occured on Sunday, Dec. 29th, at 1:30 a.m., in her 35th year. In her childhood she gave her heart to God, and joined the Disciple Church, of which she was a faithful member till death called her to the church above. We knew her as a quiet neighbor, a careful housekeeper, and an affectionate mother to her one little daughter, who is left when she most needs a mother's care. Residing in the home with her mother, Mrs. W.H. Barger, she was ever ready, with a willing hand, to help, and had just nursed her mother through a serious illness when she herself was stricken down, and passed away only a few days, sickness, leaving her family in bereavement and sorrow, and her home desolate. "Sweet sister, thou hast left us, Here thy loss we deeply feel, But 'tis God that hath bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal." Mrs. Cover's funeral services were held at Grace Church Tuesday afternoon, pastor Bomberger officiating. Quite a large number of sympathizing friends were present. * Mary is buried in an unmarked grave in the Columbiana Cemetery. Her resting place is two plots to the right of her father Amos Miller.
