KERRICK, died at five o'clock this morning at the home of her parents, 401 West Burlington street. Her death was due to influenza, with which she was taken ill a week ago Saturday. KERRICK, died at five o'clock this morning at the home of her parents, 401 West Burlington street. Her death was due to influenza, with which she was taken ill a week ago Saturday. Miss KERRICK was born in Fairfield December 5th, 1898, and consequently died the day following her 20th birthday. She was a graduate of the Farifield High School with the class of 1916, and was in her Junior year at Parsons College. She was an accomplished musician and would have graduated from the Parsons College Conservatory of Music at the same time that she would have completed her collegiate work. She was a member of the Unkrich Orchestra. She was a member of Elzevir Society of Parsons College. From childhood she had been a member of the Methodist church and was a young lady of kind and generous disposition and will be missed by a wide circle of friends. The funeral services will be held Saturday at Farifield Abby (sic. Fairfield Abbey Mausoleum), where interment will take place. The service, which occurs at 3:00 p.m., tomorrow will be in charge of Dr. C.L. Tennant, pastor of the First Methodist church, and will be brief. ---------- Note: The Fairfield Abbey Mausoleum was closed in the 1960's and certain individuals were reburied in Fairfield Evergreen Cemetery. Mary Louise KERRICK and her parents were subsequently reburied as well.
