Read More	MINOT DAILY NEWS Tuesday, 7 Nov 1995 Mae Gustavson 5 Oct. 1908 - 4 Nov. 1995 KENMARE - Mae Gustavson, 87, Kenmare, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, in a Kenmare nursing home. She was born Oct. 5, 1908, in rural Donnybrook to Fred and Mary Schwede. She was raised and educated near Donnybrook where she attended rural school and Donnybrook High School. She worked as a housekeeper in several homes in that area and later for a family near Surrey as a young woman. She married Wilfern Gustavson Dec. 26, 1931, in Minot. They lived and farmed in Lowland Township, Mountrail County, for several years. They purchased the Dan Danielson farm south of Coulee in 1941 in Crowfoot Township, Mountrail County, and continued to farm. Her husband died Aug. 20, 1952. She moved to Kenmare in 1964. She later moved to the Kenmare Baptist Home and recently to the Kenmare nursing home. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Kenmare, and its ladies aid. Survivors: sons, Mervin and Howard, both rural Donnybrook; six grandchildren; five great - grandchil-dren; brother, Fritz, Minot. Funeral: Today at 2 p.m. in United Methodist Church, Kenmare. ------------------------------------------------- THE KENMARE NEWS Wednesday, 15 Nov 1995 Mae Gustavson Oct. 5, 1908 - Nov. 4, 1995 Mae Gustavson, 87, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995 in a Kenmare Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 7 in the United Methodist Church, Kenmare, with Rev, Kenrad Pederson officiating. Mary Pederson was vocalist and Wanda Rodin was organist. Hymns were a1so sung by the congregation. Casketbearers were David Schwede, Herb Schwede, Joe Crider, Gary Knudtson, Ernest Lehman and Leonard Lehman. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Kenmare, with Thompson - Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was born October 5, 1908 at rural Donnybrook, a daughter of Fred and Mary (Krueger) Schwede. She was raised and educated near Donnybrook where she attended rural school and Donnybrook high school. As a young lady she worked as a housekeeper in several area homes and later for a family near Surrey. On December 26, 1931 at Minot, she married Wilfern Gustavson. Following their marriage the couple lived and farmed in Lowland Township, Mountrail County, for several years. In 1941 they purchased the Dan Danielson farm south of Coulee in Crowfoot Township Mountrail County and continued to farm. He passed away August 20, 1952 and she remained on the farm. In 1964 she moved to Kenmare. She later moved to the Baptist Home and recently the Kenmare Nursing Home.
