Mrs. Cochran had been ill for eight years with arthritis and was bedfast for the past 15 months. She had been critically ill for four days. The body will be returned to the Wiggins home at 7 p.m. tonight, where friends may call.. Arrangements were made by the Leatherman-Morris funeral home. Mrs. Cochran was the third child born to John and Eliza (McAnally) Potts, who resided in Hamilton county east of Noblesville. Her birth date was May 6, 1870. At the age of 4, Mrs. Cochran moved with her parents to Tipton county, south of Tipton and east of the New Hope community, where she spent her entire life until the death of her husband in April, 1936. After attending Tipton county schools, Mrs. Cochran married George C. Cochran, son of Thomas and Leah (Newkirk) Cochran, March 28, 1894. They were the parents of four children all of whom survive. The four children are, Clinton Cochran; Mrs. Wiggins; Mrs. Loris Bristol, of Tallahassee, Florida, teacher in the state university; and John H. Cochran, of Saginaw, Michigan. Five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
