She was 83 years, and had resided at Bolinas for 55 years. She went to San Francisco on a visit in January, and after a short illness passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Sayers were among the first settlers at Bolinas, and for many years the husband shipped wood to the city... Read More	*Mary Sayers aka* Marie Sayers * * Mrs. Frank Sayers Passes Away at an Advanced Age** On Thursday, February 27th, Mrs. Mary von Arx Sayers, widow of the late Frank Sayers, died at the home of her son Wallace in San Francisco. She was 83 years, and had resided at Bolinas for 55 years. She went to San Francisco on a visit in January, and after a short illness passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Sayers were among the first settlers at Bolinas, and for many years the husband shipped wood to the city for a living. The family was always identified with affairs of Bolinas, and for almost 25 years the sons conducted the stage line to San Rafael. The children were Mrs. Carolyn Anderson, Mrs. C.H. Koehncke, Wallace, Albert, Louise and Adolphino Sayers. Published Marin Journal March 6, 1913 Death Notice Sayers. In this city, February 27, 1913, Mary von Arx Sayers, widow of the late Frank Sayers, and loving mother of Mrs. C.C. Anderson and Mrs. C.H. Koehncke and Albert, Wallace, Frank, Louis and Adolphus Sayers and the late Mary Matsen, a native of Basie, Switzerland, aged 82 years, 10 months and 4 days.
