Harr, 1514 Highland, died this afternoon of heart disease. Mr. Harr was born May 7, 1855, in Edensburg, Pa., and came to Kansas when he was 12 years old, settling in Auburn. He was married in 1878 in Lees Summit, Mo., to Miss Mary Alice Cook and they moved to Emporia in 1919. Mr. Harr was a member of the Methodist church of Auburn. He is survived by Mrs. Harr and seven children. They are: Mrs. Harry Morgan, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Miss Winifred Harr, of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. C. L. Ransdell, of Topeka; Mrs. Elise Harrison, D. C. Harr, and L. T. Harr, of Emporia, and Mrs. Charles Tefft, of Oakland, Calif. One sister, Mrs. Kate Fleck, of Yukon, Okla., and two brothers, J. M. Harr and D. P. Harr of Topeka, and 10 grandchildren also survive. No funeral arrangements have been made. *************************** The Emporia Gazette, 13 Mar 1926, Saturday HARR FUNERAL MONDAY Funeral services for M. L. Harr, 1514 Highland, who died Thursday afternoon, will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Methodist church. Rev. C. L. Hovgard, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery. ***************************** The Emporia Gazette, 16 Mar 1926, Tuesday FUNERAL OF M. L. HARR Funeral services for M. L. Harr, 1514 Highland, who died Thursday afternoon at his home, were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Methodist church. Rev. C. L. Hovgard, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Interment was made in Maplewood cemetery. A quartet composed of Ted Addleman, Spencer Long, George Adams and Lawrence Troup sang, accompanied by Miss Olga Hiebert. The pallbearers were Carl Bertsch, Lave Miller, Roland Mayo, Junior Brown, Mayne Replogle, and Kenneth Grimsley. The honorary pallbearers were: C. W. Ferrebee, W. Taylor, Jake Fowler, Sam Jacob, Gene Hamble, and Glen Weaver.
