Rev. Paul J. Johnson conducted the services, 1:45 at her home and 2:00 at the Wolbach Methodist church. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Virgil Haggstrom, Asa Watts, Carl Coe, Perl Bower, Jacob Hansen and Dort Stokes. Flower bearers were Mrs. Gordon Wagner, Mrs. Ervin Klein, Mrs. Barbara Hansen, Mrs. Jake DeLaurant, Mrs. Wm. Klein and Mrs. Gus Wagner. Jennie, daughter of Andrew and Rachel Friman, was born January 13, 1868 at Shelbyville, Illinois and died at her home in Wolbach, Nebraska, July 13, 1951, at the age of 83 yeas and 6 months. She moved with her parents to Iowa when a small child, grew up, and was educated in the public schools of Adams county, Iowa. She was baptized and a life-long member of the Methodist Church. She was a Past Noble Grand of the Wolbach Rebekah Lodge. On February 12, 1885 she was united in marriage to L. F. Cartwright. To this union were born twelve chidlren, three of whom died in infancy. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1908, one daughter Viola Junk in 1919 and one son Roland in 1936. She is survived by four sons and three daughters; Wm. LeRoy Cartwright of Wray, Colorado, Mrs. Ida Jackson of Fullerton, Nebraska, Mrs. Myrtle McIntyre of Wolbach, Lester F. Cartwright of Norfolk, Nebraska, Mrs. Marie Dollarhide of Wolbach, Russell L. Cartwright of Wray, Colorado, Virgil D. Cartwright of Broken Bow, Nebraska, 24 grandchildren, 33 great grand-children, 2 sisters, Mrs. Viola Soward of La Plata, Missouri and Mrs. Alice Billings of Knoxville, Iowa, 2 brothers, Wm. Friman of Wagner, Oklahoma and Charles Friman of Palisade, Nevada, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor and always willingly extended a helping hand. She will be greatly missed by her relatives and many friends.
