Jones Funeral Here - Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle D. Jones, 80, of Sunnyvale, California were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Wolbach.... Myrtle D. Jones, daughter of Lafe and Jennie Cartwright was born March 12, 1892 at Villisca, Iowa. At an early age she moved with her family to Wolbach where she received her education and grew to womanhood. On July 23, 1909 Myrtle was united in marriage to Chauncey D. McIntyre at Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple then made their home in Wolbach where Mrs. McIntyre was in the banking business until 1926 when the couple moved to Scotia. Chauncey then ran the Scotia State Bank until the Bank Holidays in 1929, after which the couple moved to Greeley when he became Greeley County Clerk. Mr. McIntyre died in 1940. Shortly after the death of her husband, Myrtle moved to Santa Clara County, California to make her home. In 1954 she was united in marriage to Ellsworth Jones. The couple made their home in Los Angeles, Calif., until his death in 1960. She then moved to Sunnyvale to make her home until ill health forced her to enter a rest home at Cupertino, Calif. On Thursday, May 18, 1972 she entered into rest at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Valley Church at Sunnyvale. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Belva Montsch of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Theda Snell of Chehalis, Calif., and Mrs. Creda Hunt of San Gabriel, Calif. Four sons: Dale McIntyre of Saratoga, Calif, Bill McIntyre of Sunnyvale, Calif, Donald McIntyre of Santa Clara, Calif, and Wayne McIntyre of San Jose, Calif. Two sisters: Mrs. Marie Dollarhide of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Mrs. Ida Jackson of Fullerton, Nebraska. Three brothers: Lester Cartwright of Norfolk, Nebr., Russell Cartwright of Wray, Colo., and Virgil (Jim) of Broken Bow, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two infant daughters, 1 sister: Olga Junk and two brothers: William and Roland.
