Read More	Matilda Jeannette Woods Grossoehme lived all of her life in Nemaha county. She was born in Auburn on Sept. 18, 1894, the daughter of Thomas and Angie Osborne Woods... Her schooling began in Auburn, continued in Nemaha county rural schools and she graduated from high school in Nemaha. On Dec. 23, 1915 she was married to Walter Grossoehme in ceremonies in Nemaha. The couple began housekeeping on a farm northeast of Nemaha and lived on several farms in this county, last farming their own place a mile south of Howe were they moved in 1954... Last fall Mrs. Grossoehme became ill and underwent surgery in Omaha in early December. She had been bedfast since then and died Tuesday evening, March 10, 1959...
