OBITUARY THE CHARITON LEADER Chariton, Iowa December 28, 1971 Maude Emeline Wright, daughter of James Martin and Mollie Goltry Wright was born in Lucas County, Iowa December 5, 1890 and departed this life at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital December 3rd at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 28 days. On October 26, 1910 she was united in marriage to John Mark Sellers and together they made their home in Cedar Township, Lucas County, Iowa. Three sons and two daughters came to bless their home. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Richard, one infant grandson, two brothers and her parents. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Keith of the home address and Clair of Russell, two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hull of Russell and Mrs. Shirley McDonald of Chariton, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Clair Sellers and two sons-in-law, Mr. Sylvan Hull and Mr. Richard McDonald. Three sisters, Mrs. Meryle Turbot, Mrs. Edythe Kells and Mrs. Alice Werts, two brothers, Richard F. Wright of Bellingham, Wash., and George Wright of Russell, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Her humanity was rich and possessed a rare goodness which was illuminated again and again by her love and kindness. Services were held Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Woodman Funeral Home with the Rev. Wauneita McConnell officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
