On February 25, 1912, she was united in marriage to Louis Glenn Ramsbottom. They made their home on a farm in the vicinity of Munden and Narka, Kan., for thirty years, then lived for two years in Chester, Neb. The rest of their married life was spent at Hebron, Neb., in their present home. To this union were born two sons, Ival J. of Arlington, Tex., and Alvin J. of Hebron. Maudie always enjoyed entertaining company, for she tried to make her friends happy. She spent hour after hour of her time working in her flower garden, for she was a great lover of flowers. She always had a special interest in teen agers (sic) and for many years she taught a Sunday School class of young ladies at the Methodist church (sic) in Munden, Kan. These girls always referred to her affectionately as "Mom". She departed from this life in her home on Friday, October 6, 1961, leaving her husband, her two sons and their wives, two grandsons, three granddaughters and one brother, John C. Jefferson of Hebron. Two sisters, Mrs. Ed Frame and Mrs. B.L. Light preceded her in death. She also leaves many other relatives and hundreds of friends, for she was known as "Maudie" over a very large area. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church (sic) at Hebron with Rev.
