Rees (sic) of San Francisco and Miss May (sic) Soldate, also of San Francisco but formerly of Penngrove. The church was tastefully decorated in pink and white blossoms and the ceremony was performed under a beautiful wedding bell composed of pink and white hyacinths. Rev. Lorr Ewing of Ukiah was the officiating clergyman. Miss Angeline Rees (sic), sister of the groom, was maid of honor, while the groom was attended by Mr. Alfred Soldate, a brother of the bride. _____After the ceremony an elaborate wedding dinner was served at the residence of the bride's parents. Later in the day the bridal couple departed for a brief honeymoon tour of the northern part of the State. _____The boyhood of the groom was passed in Livermore, where he has many friends. He has for a number of years been located in San Francisco where he is a member of the Rees Blowpipe Manufacturing Company. The bride is not well known in Livermore but she has visited here and is described by those who met her as an attractive and amiable young lady.
