Reynolds, March 16, 1904, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 5 days. Deceased moved to Van Buren county, Iowa, with her parents in 1835, was married to Joseph Tompkins in 1840. Reynolds, March 16, 1904, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 5 days. Deceased moved to Van Buren county, Iowa, with her parents in 1835, was married to Joseph Tompkins in 1840. To this union were born four children--Mrs Daniel McCoy, Mrs J.H. Wise and Mrs O.P. Reynolds of this place, and J.H. Tompkins of Oregon. Joseph Tompkins died in 1848 and she was united in marriage to Samuel Langley in 1851. To this union were born two children--C.B. Langley of Des Moines and J.E. Langley of Keokuk. Samuel Langley died in 1858. In 1883 deceased came to Page County, Iowa, to make her home with her youngest daughter, Mrs Reynolds, where she had remained up to her death. She was converted in 1863 and united with the Bonaparte Baptist church, of which she was a faithful member until 1883 when she came to Page county.
