Page 1 META OTTEN Services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Smykil Funeral Home for Mrs. Meta Otten, 86, who died Saturday at the farm home of her son, Carl, near Forrest. She was born May 20, 1857, in the province of Hanover, Germany and came to this country with her husband in 1900. She had lived in Jones county ever since. Mr. Otten died in 1915.
