The family came to America in 18--, and settled in Wayne township, Jones county, Iowa, where Mr. Otten engaged Afterwards he removed to Cass township and engaged in farming. He leaves to mourn his wife and four children: J Henry, Carl H., Menno, and Fred B of Davenport, ---- ---- brother and one sister in America, and one brother and one sister in Germany. The funeral services were held in the Castle Grove Lutheran church Thursday, Jan 21, at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. Neather. Interment was in the Prairie Hill Cemetery. * * * * * * *
