Description	:	OBITUARY contributed by Dennis - Mildred E. Olberding, 75, of Odebolt died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Odebolt, with the Rev. Allan Reicks officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a rosary conducted by the Ladies Society at 7 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:30 p.m., at Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Odebolt. Mrs. Olberding was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Odebolt, the daughter of Albert and Pearl (Dinges) Landgraf. She attended St. Martin's and Sacred Heart Elementary Schools and graduated from the Early, Iowa, high school in 1941. During World War II she was employed at a defense plant in Des Moines. Later she worked at the Firestone Company in Omaha and then for the Dresselhuis Law Firm in Odebolt until her marriage. She married Norman Olberding on Sept. 17, 1949, in Odebolt. The couple farmed near Odebolt until retiring and moving into Odebolt. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, the St. Martin's Ladies Society and the funeral choir. Survivors include her husband; seven sisters, Dorothy Mae and her husband, Raymond Blass, of Odebolt, Kathleen and her husband, Urban Determan, of Early, Barbara and her husband, Bernard Faber, of Spencer, Iowa, Jean Jackson and Lois and her husband, Roger Kipf, all of Davenport, Iowa, Helen and her husband, Paul Eckerman, of Conrad, Iowa, and Marilyn Fitzgerald of Freemont, Neb.; a brother and his wife, George and Dorothy Landgraf of Odebolt; and her mother-in-law, Dora Oberding of Odebolt. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Mary Ann.
