Felt, a former pastor, now at Wesley Chapel, was in charge. Mildred Fernette, daughter of James Albert and Clara Frances McLaln Shook, was born on the home farm near Emerson Dec. 1, 1895, one of a family of 11 children. Felt, a former pastor, now at Wesley Chapel, was in charge. Mildred Fernette, daughter of James Albert and Clara Frances McLaln Shook, was born on the home farm near Emerson Dec. 1, 1895, one of a family of 11 children. She was united in marriage to Glen Everett Snodgrass at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Swlsher In Emerson, March 13, 1917. One daughter, Enid Mildred, now Mrs. Frank Wilson, came to bless this union. Mrs. Snodgrass became a member of the Methodist church early in life and kept up interest in her church work as long as her health permitted. Her sickness has been a lingering one and caused her death In a hospital in Omaha, July 27, 1940 at the age of 44 years, seven months and 26 days. She will be greatly missed In her home, the church and the community. Those left to mourn her passing from this life are her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Frank Wilson, of Red Oak; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Sowers of Henderson, others, Earl and Clyde Shook of Malvern, Glen and Ivan of Emerson and Elbridge of Henderson, all of whom were present; many other relatives and a large circle of friends. A brother Frank preceded her In death less than a year ago. Burial was In the Emerson cemetery with the Mansfield Funeral Home of Malvern in charge. Malvern Leader, August 1, 1940
