On February 18, 1901, she was married to George Marlett and has lived continuously in the neighborhood of her birth except a short period spent at Denver, Colorado. Of her immediate family she was preceded in death by her father, mother, one brother, and one sister. The host of friends who have ministered to her comfort during the long period of illness bear testimony to the esteem bear testimony to the esteem in which she was held in the community. Funeral services were held at the Plasant (sic) View U.B. church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Con Hewitt had charge of the service.
