The pallbearers were six nephews of Mrs. Wiese - Otto and Louis Nomsen, Will Tischer and Albert Nuetzman, all of Wall Lake, and Wm. Lange and Rudie Swieter, Lake View. Burial was in the Wall Lake cemetery. Relatives and friends from a distance present at the last rites were Mrs. Chris Herrig and Mrs. Mattie Nelson and daughter, of Parker, S.D., Mrs. Ted Kuhlmeier and daughter Phyllis, of Chancellor, S.D., Mrs. Gus Herrig, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Bertha Nomsen, Mrs. Emma Bochman, Mrs. Marie Martin, Mrs. Minnie Hess, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Staab amd Mrs. August Hanke, all of Wall Lake, Iowa, and Mrs. Laura Selby, of Sioux City, also several from Early. Wilhelmina Johanna Schulte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schulte, was born March 26, 1871, in Benton county, Iowa. Later she moved with her parents to Crawford county, Iowa. On March 2, 1890, she was married to Gottlieb Wiese. The young couple moved to Pipestone, Minn., residing there for six years. At the end of that time, they moved to a farm near Wall Lake, Sac County, Iowa, where they continued to reside until 1918, when they moved to Lake View. To their union were born three children, all of them surviving their mother. They are John Wiese, of Wall Lake; Mrs. John Knecht, of Early, and Mrs. Hans Jacobsen of Sac City. Mrs. Wiese had been ailing since last summer. Six weeks ago she was taken with a stroke and had since been confined to her bed at home and two weeks in the Sac City hospital. Other physical derangements caused her extreme suffering during her illnes. Besides the children above mentioned, she is survived by her husband, by one sister, Mrs. Chris Herrig, of Parker, S.D., by nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Wiese was a most faithful wife, a true mother and a good friends to those with whom she associated. Her passing will be mourned by all those who knew and loved her. She was baptized in the Lutheran church, and was a member of the Peace Lutheran church of Wall Lake for many years. She was confirmed by the Rev. L.A. Muller of Wall Lake, on March 25, 1888. During the time of her last illness, Mrs. Wiese was under the spiritual care of her pastor, and we have the assurance and Christian hope that she died in a sincere faith in Christ Jesus as her Savior. At the time of her passing on Feb 17, 1937, she was 65 years, 10 months and 23 days of age.
