A. Keinath, a bachelor of 40 years, and Mrs. Lula Dutton, a widow of 28 years with three children, stole a march on their friends at Dunlap on Buffalo Bill day by coming to Emporia and being married. Nobody knew it, as they did not come to town together but steered around all day alone. At 7 o'clock they met and the groom, with a license, took the party to Rev. Sauber's, 525 Union street, where the knot was tied. They went home on the evening train and have since kept their marriage a secret.
