She was born on August 8, 1926 in Clay County Kansas, the daughter of Lee and Berthilda (Hodges) Thorman. Madonna was raised in the Green community. She married Leo Reed on September 15, 1944. Madonna was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian where she served as an Elder and a Deacon, O.E.S., American Legion Auxiliary and Clifton Historical Society. She is also preceded in death by a son, Donald and two brothers. Survivors include: Son: Leo Reed, Jr, Clifton, KS Daughter: Sharon Reed, Clifton, KS Daughter-In-Law: Trudy Reed, Clifton, KS 10 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren & 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 10:30 at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Riverdale Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
