The funeral will take place from the Fowler chapel Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. J.P. Lucas will conduct the services. Interment will be at the Wilhite cemetery. ******************************** Emporia Gazette, Friday, November 30, 1894; p.2, c.2 Death of Mrs. W. L. Brown Mrs. W. L. Brown died at her home south east of this city at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness of three months. Mrs. Brown, who is a sister to C.W. (Charles) and Millard Wilhite of this city, was born in Lyon county, April 30, 1861, and was married to W.L. Brown in November 1878, who with five children, is left to mourn the loss of a fond wife and loving mother. The funeral services will be held at the Fowler chapel 2&1/2 miles east of town Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, and the remains will be interred at the Wilhite family cemetery.
