Read More	Fontanelle Observer June 1906 Mrs. Myram Raper Mrs. Myram Raper was found dead in bed between 6 and 7 o'clock last Saturday morning at the home of her son Fred just west of Canby. She had gone to bed at the usual hour on Friday evening, and during the night no disturbance or outcry was heard, but in the morning when they went to call her she had passed, apparently peacefully, to the great beyond. Justice of the peace, W.A. Woodruff conducted an inquiry, with the finding that she had come to her death by heart failure. Two years ago she suffered quite severely with heart trouble, but of late had been feeling unusually well, and about a week before her death had visited at the home of her son George. Mrs. Raper was in her seventy-fifth year. She had lived and borne an honored name in Adair County since 1874. She leaves five sons and one daughter to mourn her loss, the husband and father having died some years ago. The funeral was held at the Friends church at Canby, Monday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Stripling, of Earlham. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
